Isis Medica F.A.Q.
Here are some questions and answers to common queries about our product and service.

Q:
What do the treatments feel like?
A:
Your practitioner or doctor will treat the affected area by first applying a conductive gel to the region of interest and use brass or chrome treatment probes to gently stimulate the area to healing. The electro-myopulse will initially read the cell frequency and treatment will begin. There is little sensation during treatment except for the movement of the probes across your skin and a slight tingling sensation. After treatment the joint may feel ‘worked on’ for the next day or two while the body accommodates the changes of cellular healing. You will notice significant pain reduction and improved movement in 1-2 days after the treatment.

Q:
How many treatments will it take for resolution of pain?
A:

Generally only 1-3 treatments will be needed for resolving most acute or chronic pain problems including carpal tunnel, ACL tears, strains, spains, disk degeneration, sciatica, degenerative joint disease, arthritis etc. Even severe pain or profoundly debilitated patients will notice improvements in one treatment. However, for full resolution in some cases this can take more treatments.

Q:
Do I have to do a detoxification program with my electro-myopulse treatments?
A:

No, but in many cases it helps assist the body in slowing down the aging process and accelerating cellular repair by reducing the amount of toxins the body needs to overcome on a daily basis.

Q:
What are anti-stress treatments incorporated into every treatment?
A:

Regardless of dermatology or pain treatments, helping the body deal with stress and improve sleep will allow for faster recovery and better healing during the sleep cycle.

Q:
Are there any reasons not to do the electro-myopulse treatments?
A:

There are very few contraindications for electro-myopulse treatments. The electro-myopulse is extremely efficient at treating various types of pain and inflammation. The main contraindication for using the electro-myopulse machine is to treat any pain that will inhibit the diagnosis of a deeper pathology or disease process.
